Super Shot
Changes to Super Shot Hole.
To keep variety, the Match Committee has decided to change the hole on which the Super Shot is contested from this Saturday.
The Super Shot will now be contested on the 11th hole.
The ninth hole will regress to a nearest the pin hole. The 11th will remain as the Women’s Drive and Pitch but to win the Super Shot only one shot is allowed.
The conditions of entry into the Super Shot Sweepstakes Competition are that you sign the entry sheet and pay the entry fee.
This is needed to check the validity of entries into the Super Shot.
Winnings must be collected within 1 month and it is your responsibility to arrange collection.
The following people have yet to collect their super shot winnings.
Saturday 9th November – Dean Curran
Wednesday 20th November – Liam Pearson (LSC)
Saturday 23rd November – Peter Munro
Wednesday 4th December – John Anthony
Please collect your winnings asap from the Office.

Members may use the MiScore Phone App in any individual comp at Jamberoo at their discretion provided that they use it in conjunction with another player in their group.
Scorer and Marker
The two such players will act as each others marker and must check the validity of each other’s scores and electronically sign at the conclusion of the round.

Expressions of interest are being sought for a member to take up the position of Honorary Club Treasurer.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
Role Summary
· Be responsible for the financial supervision of the Club
· Operate as the chief financial management officer
· Set annual budgets for the Club and relevant sub-committees for approval by the Board of Directors
· Set and oversee financial systems and controls
· Head the Club Finance Committee
Responsibilities
· Prepare annual budgets to deliver the Club strategic plan.
· Set finance controls and systems to ensure efficient and transparent management of Club resources. Review the financial controls and systems on a regular basis to ensure they are robust and to encourage continuous improvement
· Assess the financial implications of significant spend including capital expenditure and new employment positions within the Club
· Support audit processes
· Monthly financial reports – present at monthly Board meetings
· Act as signatory on the Club accounts
· Administer all financial affairs of the Club. This would include regular meetings with the finance committee in relation to ongoing financial matters including:
§ Review of outstanding subscriptions on a monthly basis. Ensure policies in relation to collection of outstanding subscriptions are followed.
§ Review of income and expenditure in comparison to budget and prior year on a monthly basis.
The Treasurer fulfils a unique and essential role in managing the Club’s financial resources.
Role Competencies
· Demonstrates strong business acumen. Has an understanding of the key business drivers that will help create a sustainable club. Is able to use sound commercial principles to further develop the club’s best interests
· An understanding of finance and accounting.

Teachers Golf Day
The Annual Illawarra Teachers Golf Day will be again be held at Jamberoo.
The event will take place on Friday December 27 in the morning.
